Certain laws help consumers who are harmed or injured because of defective products. Product liability cases, as some lawyers refer to these types of cases, include products that cause harm because of a defective design, defective manufacturing or insufficient warning instructions.
Fisher Price Rock ‘n Play Sleeper may fall in the category of defective design and insufficient warning. We also feel that the company should be held responsible for the infant deaths and serious injuries caused by their product.
A federal consumer agency, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, has only issued a recommendation that parents not use the seat and seem to have left the manufacture to their decision whether to recall the product or not.
